- Extreme irritability, rage, aggression
- Grandiosity, a sense of special connectedness with God or public figures
- Unrealistic beliefs in one’s abilities
- Sleeplessness, restlessness
- Excessive or risky behavior, spending sprees
- Racing thoughts and / or speech
Depressive Episode:
- Intense sadness, sense of emptiness
- Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, hopelessness
- Loss of interest in activities once enjoyed
- Change in appetite
- Difficulty concentrating
- Sleeping too much or too little
- Bodily pain or physical discomfort that is not associated with any apparent illness or injury
